Women's health

Hormone care that fits your life

Women's health, menopause care and hormone therapy, with a nurse practitioner who listens.

What is women's health and hormone therapy?

Women's health care looks at the health needs that change across your life, including perimenopause and menopause.

Hormone therapy is one treatment option your provider may discuss for perimenopause and menopause symptoms, when clinically appropriate. It is not right for everyone. Your provider will talk with you about the benefits and risks for you. Individual results vary.

Who it may help

  • Women with perimenopause or menopause symptoms
  • People who want to learn whether hormone therapy is a safe choice for them
  • People who want their hormone care connected to the rest of their health care

What to expect

What a visit may include

  • A review of your symptoms, health history and medications
  • Lab work, when needed
  • A talk about your options, including the benefits and risks of hormone therapy
  • Regular follow-up and labs to see how you're doing and adjust your plan

Many visits can be done by telehealth. Some exams and labs need an in-person visit.

How often will I have follow-up visits?

Your provider will set a follow-up schedule with you, with labs as needed, to see how you're doing and adjust your plan.

Is it covered by insurance?

Visits are billed to insurance when your plan covers them. Labs are billed separately. Medication costs depend on your pharmacy and plan.
